Ss know how to save energy

By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to make a respond to suggestions, listen some information about solar energy and decide true or false statements

Teacher’s activities Student’s activities 1/ WARM – UP (5’.

- Have ss suggest ways of saving energy

Ex: We should go to school by bike

- Call some ss to speak

2/ PRE – SPEAKING.( 9’).

- Give exchange sentences

“ I suggest taking a shower”

Ok, I’ll do that

- Ask ss to find out the other ways of making suggestions

* Activity 1

- Have ss look at the expressions in the grid above and the

pictures in the textbook to make suggestions

Ex: I think we should turn off the faucet

+ I suggest fixing the faucet

Notes:

- Have ss work in pairs practicing

- Get feedback

- Make corrections

- Work in groups
