1 Warm – Up: (5’)

- Have students write the “Jumbled word”:

AVRFO  FAVOR

- Ask students the meaning of the word: FAVOR

2 Pre – Speaking: (8’)

- Set the scene: You are carrying a heavy bag, but

you have hurt your arm so you need some help

How do you ask for a favor? And what are the

responses?

 Possible answers:

 Could you help me to carry me bag?

 Can you carry this bag foe me, please?

 I’ve hurt my arm Can you help me carry my

bag?

 Responses: Certainly / Of course / Sure / No

3 While – Speaking: (15’)
