I OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: consolidate the knowledge

they have learnt from the unit 6: modal verbs, gerund, and present simple tense with future meaning

1 Warm – Up: (5’)

- Have students play a game: “Who is quick person”

Give some sentences:

Hoa loves playing volleyball

Nam hates reading book

Nga likes listening to music

2 Exercises: (35’)

a/ Exercise 1: Present simple tense with future

meaning

- Set the scene: Lan and Mai are members of the Y &

Y organization They are talking about the spring

activity program

- Ask students to complete the following dialogue

Lan: (1) ……… we collect and empty garbage?

Mai: At Dong Xuan Market

Lan: (2) ………… We collect and empty garbage?

Mai: On January 9

Lan: (3) ………… we start and finish work?

Mai: We start at 8 am and finish at 5 pm

- Ask students to give feedback
