1 WARM – UP: (5’)

- Call students to name some jobs and their

definitions

- Have a student talk about jobs of each their family

member

2 PRESENTATION: (10’)

- Explain vocabulary :

+ apartment (n)

+ empty (adj)

+ furnished (adj)

+ suitable (adj)

+ find (v)

- Introduce :

* The comparative:

+ Short adjective:

BE + ADJ + ER + THAN

Ex: Tom is taller than John

+ Long adjective:

BE + MORE + ADJ + THAN

Ex: Tom is more intelligent than John

* The superlative:

+ Short adjective:

BE + THE +ADJ + EST Ex: Tom is the tallest boy in our class

+ Long adjective

BE + THE MOST + ADJ + NOUN … …

Tom is the most intelligent student in our class

* Note : good – better – the best.

3 PRACTICE: (20’)

- Have students listen to the tape

- Have Ss to practice the dialogue in pairs

- Ask students to answer the questions

- Call some students to practice the questions and

answers before the class

- Correct
