Unit 9: THE BODY

LESSON 1: PARTS OF THE BODY (A 1, 2)

Aims: To give the students words of body.

Objectives: By the end of the lesson the students will be able to know how to call some parts of the

body

Skills: reading, speaking, listening

Teaching aids: book, poster.

Languages:

Grammar: What is that? What are those?

Vocabulary: head, shoulder, arm, hand, finger, leg, foot, feet, toe, knee

1 Pre-teach vocabulary :

- A head / hed/(n): cái đầu

- A shoulder / '∫ouldə/ (n): cái vai

- An arm / ɑ:m/ (n): cánh tay

- A hand / hnd/ (n): bàn tay

- A finger / 'fiηgə/ (n): ngón tay

- A leg / leg/ (n): chân

- A foot / fut/– feet /ft/ (n): bàn chân

- A toe / tou/ (n): ngón chân

- A chest / t∫est/ (n): ngực

- A knee / ni:/ (n): đầu gối
