2 Objectives :

- By the end of lesson sts will be able to master 4 new words and use the model frequently

“’s” in “What’s” and “It’s” and “a” in “It’s a book”

* Solution : Teacher will check grammar carefully to sts.

E) Procedure :

Stages/

Time

1/ Warm up Music Chair :

 Stable classroom organization

 T greets and asks Sts about health, weather, class situation and their names : “What’s your name ?”

 “Nice to meet you! I’m new teacher I would like to know how smart you are

So, please greeting me by a song “Hello song” Would you like to sing now? Yes

or No ?”

+ Sts sing the song 1 time

+ “All of you sing verry well Oh, you sing to give me I’m verry happy And I give you a game Do you like to play?

+ T prepares some chairs and put them on the ground

+ T asks sts sing “Hello song” and listen the teacher’s signals When T said “stop, sts must choose 1 chair by themselves as fastest as posssible The people who get the chair will continue to play game The one who get no

chair will be left out The loser will have to answer the question teacher gives

+ T controlls the game Each time T said

“stop”, T takes out 1 chair The one who gets the last chair will be a winner

+ Praise the winner by an aplouse

Presentation

* Linking : In your previous lesson you know

how ask someone’s name if you don’t know But when you don’t know about the name of something in English How do you ask and answer? This lesson will answer our problems First of all, to know about how to answer the name of some objects, we have to learn some new words below:

1/ Preteach New words:

- A book: một quyển sách ( visual )

( 1 Eliciting from Children : what’s this ?

2 T models 2 or 3 times

3 Choral repetition

4 Individual repitition

5 Teacher correct mistakes if any

6 Copying

7 T checks understanding ( stress, intonation, meaning)

- A desk: một cái bàn ( realia )

- A chair : một cái ghế ( explanation ) ( The thing ưe sit on it What’s this ?)

- A ruler : một cái ghế ( visual )

*Checking vocabulary:

1 Slapped the board.

- T divides class into 2 groups Boys and girls.

- T speaks out the word, Sts slap and say loudly that word The group is quiker is the winner Each time, that group will get 1 point The group has more points is the winner

2 Telephone game:

- T asks Sts in 2 groups make 2 lines and one

by one in turn write the words they hear from T

2/ Set the scene :

- Ba and Lan are in class A1-10 in Sunvale

School They are playing a game : Guessing game They put something hide and ask the rest

Repitition drill with pictures:

+ T prepares 4 pictures : a book, a desk, a chair,

a ruler

+ T run through all pictures and says the model

at the first and second picture:

Ss: it’s a book

+By the third picture Ss can make the sentences

by themselve

+ After that, T also says the model question and

so on:

+ Work in pairs ask and answer

2/ Less controlled practice:

+ T prepares 10 cards with numbers on it

( 3lucky numbers and 2 stormy numbers) + T devides the class into 2 groups: A & B + Have sts choose the number and ask and answer using the model

+ If the group which choose the lucky number will get double point If the group which choose stormy number will minus ½ point +The group gets more points is the winner

Production

Guessing game:

+ T draw an object on the board and asks sts

guess what’s this? The people who get it will come to the board and do the same

Homework

Learn by heart the new words and model.

Do Exercises in workbook and worksheet.
