A GRAMMAR (NGỮ PHÁP):

I Thì hiện tại đơn:

1 Động từ "tobe":

Ở hiện tại có 3 dạng: am; is; are

Chủ ngữ Dạng của "tobe" Viết tắt

a) Thể khẳng định:

Ex: - She is a student She is beautiful.

N adj

b) Thể phủ định: (thêm "not" sau "tobe")

S + Be (am; is; are) + adj / n.

S + am not / is not / are not + adj / n.

Ex: - She is not a student She is not beautiful.

c) Thể nghi vấn: (đưa Am / Is / Are ra trước chủ ngữ và viết dấu "?" cuối câu)

Note: Với loại câu hỏi này: Nếu trả lời khẳng định: - Yes, + S + am / is / are.

Nếu trả lời phủ định: - No, + S + am not / isn't / aren't.

Ex: Is she a student? Is she beautiful?

(Yes, she is / No, she isn't.)

2 Động từ thường:

Note: Nếu các động từ có tận cùng là

Thể phủ định:ta thêm not sau do/does

Nghi vấn:ta đảo do/does ra trước chủ ngữ(s)

3 Động từ hình thái: Can / Must

a) Can: có thể (diễn tả khả năng ở hiện tại)

- Can dùng cho tất cả các loại chủ ngữ.

Am

Is + S + adj / n ? Are

- Ở thể phủ định là can't (không thể).

* Thể khẳng định: S + can + v (infinitive) → I can ride a bike

* Thể phủ định: S + can't + v (infinitive) → I can't ride a bike

* Thể nghi vấn: can + s + v (infinitive)? → Can you ride a bike?

- Trả lời khẳng định: Yes, + s + can. (Yes, I can.)

- Trả lời phủ định: No, + s + can't. (No, I can't.)

b) Must: phải (bắt buộc)

- Must dùng cho tất cả các dạng chủ ngữ.

- Ở thể phủ định là mustn't (không thể, ý cấm đoán)

* Thể khẳng định: S + must + v (infinitive) / We must finish our homework.

* Thể phủ định: S + mustn't + v (infinitive) / We mustn't in play football on the streets.

* Thể nghi vấn: Must + s + v (infinitive)? / Must we do this exercise?

II Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn:

Cách dùng: Diễn tả hành động hoặc sự việc đang diễn ra trong lúc nói, thường đi với từ now (bây giờ) / at this time / at present / at the moment.

* Thể khẳng định: S + am / is / are + V-ing + O.

→ He is watching TV

* Thể phủ định: S + am not / isn't / aren't + V-ing + O.

Thêm not sau be → He isn't watching TV

* Thể nghi vấn: Am / Is / Are + S + V-ing + O?

- Trả lời khẳng định: Yes, + S + am / is / are. (Yes, he is.)

- Trả lời phủ định: No, + S + am not / isn't / aren't. (No, he isn't)

III GIỚI TỪ:

1 Chỉ thời gian:

- In: vào / đi với các buổi trong ngày (in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening)

Riêng noon (buổi trưa) và night (ban đêm) thì đi với at.

- On: vào / đi với các thứ trong tuần (on Monday, on Tuesday )

- At: vào lúc / đi với giờ (at seven o'clock, at half past three )

2 Chỉ nơi chốn:

- In: trong, ở (in the room, in the mountains )

- On: trên (on the table, on the street )

- At: tại (at home, at school )

- Behind: phía sau

- In front of: phía trước (của)

- Next to: bên cạnh

- Near: gần

- Opposite: đối diện

- Between: ở giữa (hai người, hai vật)

3 Các giới từ khác:

- To: đến (chỉ hướng chuyển động)

- After: sau, sau khi

- By: bằng (chỉ phương tiện)

- About: về

IV Câu hỏi có từ hỏi (Wh-questions)

1 Who: chỉ người

- Who is this (that)? → - It's + tên gnười đó

- Who are they? → - They are + tên của họ

2 What: cái gì, gì

a) Hỏi để biết tên của đồ vật:

- What is this (that)? → - It's + a / an + tên gọi một đồ vật (con vật)

- What are these (those)? → - They are + N (số nhiều)

b) Hỏi về tên:

- What's your name? → - My name's

- What's his name? → - His name's

- What her name? → - Her name's

c) Hỏi về giờ:

- What's the time? = What time is it?

It's + giờ + o'clock → It's six o'clock

It's + giờ + phút → It's seven fifteen

It's + phút + to / past + giờ (to: giờ kém; past: giờ hơn)

d) Hỏi về hành động:

- What + do / does + s + v (infinitive) ?

Ex: What do you do in the morning? - I do my homework.

3 How:

a) Hỏi về sức khoẻ:

Ex: - How are you? - I'm fine, thanks And you?

b) Hỏi về tuổi:

- How old + am / is / are + S?- S +am / is / are + số tuổi

c) Hỏi về số lượng:

- How many + N (số nhiều) + are there + nơi chốn?

There is / there are + số lượng

d) Hỏi để biết cách đánh vần:

- How do you spell it?

e) Hỏi về phương tiện đi lại:

- How + do / does + S + go / travel + nơi đến?

S + go (goes) / travel (travels) + by + phương tiện đi lại

(Riêng: go on foot = walk (đi bộ))

4 Where: ở đâu

a) Hỏi về vị trí:

- Where + is / are + S?

S + is / are + nơi chốn

b) Hỏi về nơi cư trú:

- Where + do / does + s + live?

S + live / lives + in + nơi chốn

5 When: khi nào

- When + do / does + s + v (infinitive) ?

S + V (s / es) + thời gian

Ex: - When do you go to school? - We go to school in the morning.

6 Which: cái nào

- Which grade + am / is / are + s + in?

S + am / is / are + in + khối lớp

- Which class + am / is / are + s + in?

S + am / is / are + in + tên

- Where is + sở hữu + class?

S + am / is / are + on + the + số thứ tự + floor
