3 Attitude: Educate Sts to love their lesson and work hard.

1 Teacher’s: computer, projector, flash cards

2 Students’: books, workbooks

III TEACHING METHODS

- Techniques: + Ask and answer (say individually)

+ Work in pairs/ groups Discuss

IV PROCEDURES :

1 Organization: (1’)

- Greeting: Good morning/ Good afternoon How are you?

- Checking for the students’ attendance

2 Warm up: (7’)

- Greet students

- Play game (slap the board)

3 New lesson:

1 Circle the right letters Say the letter and

sound (13’)

- Explain the activity

- The students look at the pictures and circle the

corresponding letters

- Say the letter, the sound and the name of the item

- Go around the classroom to provide any

necessary help, ask individual students to say out

the sound or the item

2 Use the code and colour the picture (15’)

- Explain the activity

- Ask the students to name the items in the picture

- Ask them to use the code colour to colour each

item according to its initial sound

lines

-Put up the phonics cards (from part 3) on the

board

- Say the word Two students, one from each team,

race to touch the cards

- The first student to touch the card wins a point

for his/her team

The team with more points wins the
