LESSON 1: A1- 2

A Objectives:

1.Aims : By the end of the lesson , ss will be able to get temperature and the season

vocabulary with “ what’s the weather like ?” To talk about weather in each season

2 Practice skill:

- Practice listening skill,writing, speaking skill reading skill

3 The knowledge needs to get:.

+ Standard knowledge: What's the weather like in the summer? It's hot.

+ Advanced knowledge: weather vocab

4 Basic language:

*Vocabulary: spring, summer, autumm (fall), winter.hot, cold, warm, cool like

*Language:What's the weather like in the summer? It's hot

5 Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to get temperature and the

season vocabulary with “ what’s the weather like ?” To talk about weather in each season

- Draw some steps, then stick the cut out boy / girl on

top of the steps, the shark is in the sea

- Ask ss as a whole class for a letter in the alphabet

They have to try to guess the word If their guess is

Wrong, the girl / boy has to step down If their guess

is right, they will get one mark

( the words are about weather : hot , cold)

III: New lesson:

Step 1:Presentation:

1.Pre- teach vocabulary :

weather

The spring( n ) : mùa xuân warm (a) : ấm áp ss: choral, individual, copy The summer (n ) : mùa hè

The fall / autumn (n ) : mùa thu cool(a ) : mát mẻ

The winter (n) : mùa đông

Checking vocabulary: what and where

- Have ss repeat the words in chorus then rub out word

by word but leave the circles Remember to let ss

repeat before and after rubbing out each word Ss listen and repeat

- Go on until ss can remember the words

- Get ss to write the words again in the correct circles ss play in two groups

2 ( Pelmanism)

- Prepare 10 cards with numbers on one side and the ss work in two groups

words about weather on the others

- Make sure the countries and their cities are mixed up

- Stick the cards on the board so students can only see

the numbers Devide students into two teams ans ask

them to choose two numbers Turn the cards over and

see if they match If not, turn the cards over again and

ask the next team

3.Presentation: A1- P134

- Ask ss to look at the pictures , listen and repeat the ss listen and repeat

sentences in the pictures
