• Bước 1: Đọc lướt qua toàn bộ nội dung của bài khóa, các câu hỏi
và các câu trả lời nhằm giúp bộ não của chúng ta tiếp nhận các thông tin để não xử lý các thông tin vừa nhận được.
• Bước 2: Đọc kỹ các câu hỏi và tìm từ/cụm từ khóa (chính) trong câu hỏi để xác định (khoanh vùng) phạm vi câu trả lời nằm ở
đoạn nào, câu nào trong bài khóa.
• Bước 3: Đọc kỹ câu trả lời và câu hỏi kết hợp với cấu trúc ngữ
pháp, thì của câu hỏi và câu trả lời và đối chiếu với câu, đoạn văn
mà ta đã khoanh vùng trong bài khóa để đưa ra đáp án đúng nhất (Lưu ý loại những đáp án sai/không có thông tin đề cập trong bài khóa) Ở bước này, HS cần nắm ý của câu, của đoạn và của cả bài khóa Ví dụ, có những câu hỏi về ý chính của bài mà 4 câu trả lời đưa ra thì có tới 3 câu liên quan tới ý của bài Vì vậy, cần rất thận trọng chọn câu trả lời chính xác mang ý chính bao trùm và xuyên suốt cả đoạn hoặc cả bài
