A The objectives

- Content: Passive forms: Present simple, pastsimple, future simple, present perfect; Compound words, reported speech: statements

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to understand the forms and use of the passive voice, compound words and reported speech They’ll complete the tasks and use the language to express their ideas

B Materials: OHP, transparencies, posters, pictures,

Work arrangements: Individuals, pairs, groups, T-WC

Anticipated problems: too many target items, the lesson may take longer time

Guessing game

Form: N + V_ing = compound words

Use: as an adjective to modify the preceding

nouns

Ask ss to do the exercise in LF 3 P130
