I/ Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:

1 Knowledge: know and use

Use the present simple and present continuous

- Read for specific information about email and wedpage

- Practise making up sentences using present simple and present continuous

- Words related to the topic

2 Skills: Develop listening , speaking and writing.

II/ Preparation:

- T: lesson plan, visual pictures, video tape

- Ss: Read two grammar boxes (The present simple and present continuous tense

in text book.)

II Teaching procedure.

Activity 1: Warm-up (5’): Game

Aims: - To get ss involve in the lesson

- To introduce the topic

Step 1: Sts play a game

- Ss will Work in 4 groups, Look at the picture and

make up as many sentences as possible in 1 minute

The group has more correct sentences will win the

game

Step 2: Ss do the task T goes around the class to

provide help

Step 3: 4 groups present their examples before class

(Show the answer on the board)

Step 4: T confirms, gives comments and decides

which group wins the game

- T leads to the content of the lesson

Ex:

1.They often play badminton

after school

2 They are playing badmimton now

3 He does his homework in the evening

4 He is doing the homework at the moment
