I Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:

1 Knowledge: know and use

- Use the lexical items related to the topic “ My New School”

- Read email and Webpages

- Listen to get information about school activities

- Write a webpage for their shool, using correct punctuation

2 Skills: Develop reading, listening and writing skills

3 Attitude: Have a positive attitude about their new school.

4 Competence: Develop: teamwork, communication, self-study

II Preparation:

- T: Powerpoint file,

- Ss: Prepare the lesson in advance

III Procedures

Activity 1: Warm-up (3’)

Put the mising words in the blanks

Aims: - To get ss involve in the lesson.

- To introduce the topic

Step 1: T: Play a powerpoint file Put the

mising words in the blanks You will

Work in 3 groups, find the mising words

and put them in the blanks 5 member of

each group will come to the board to

write dowwn the missing words (1 person

1 word only)

- Work in 2 minutes

Step 2: Ss do the task T goes around the

class to provide help

Step 3: 5 Ss from 3 groups write the

missing words down on the board, 1S – 1

word only

Step 4: T confirms, gives comments,

Aims: Listen to get information about

Exercise 1: Listen and choose the

Step 1: S tells Ss to:

- Read the sentences 1 to 5 then guess

what the answers are

- Share the answers with a partner

T tells Ss to listen 2 times After that

share the answers with a partner

- The first time (Just listen to the

pronunciation only)

- Second time, Listen and choose the

correct option

Step 2: Ss do the task.

- Time: 3 minutes

Step 3: T asks 3 Ss from 3 groups to read

out loud the full sentence then say the

answers, (1S – 1 sentence)

Step 4: T confirms:

- T play the tape, stop the sentences

which has the information about the

answers

- Work in groups

- Time: 2 minutes

Step 2: Ss discuss T goes around the

class to provide help

Step 3:

- 5 Ss stand up and tell how to use capital

letters/ commas/ full stop/ question marks

and exclamation marks
