- Divide Ss into 12 groups
- Give each group a poster and a board
marker
-Stick 5 pictures on the board and
tell Ss to write one sentence/ a
phrase describing each picture
-Set a limit time for 4 minutes for Ss to
write
- Ask Ss to put the posters on the
Warm-up:
Game: Picture sentence (see Appendix)
Expected:
1 Cars can run on sea water

4 Robots are seen everywhere in schools, factory, homes
5 The anniversary of 120th birthday
Aims: to introduce the topic of the lesson and to raise students' interest
Lead-in:
- Introduce the new lesson to the students
- Do you think these things will happen in the future?
- What is your dream life in the future?
We don't know for sure what will happen
to our future life Some people have made

- The first group to have the most
correct sentences is the winner
-Put each of the words which have been
taught in each circle on the board
-Rub out one of the words but do not rub
out the circle
-Get Ss to repeat the words including the
rubbed-out word by pointing at the empty
circles
- Rub out another word but leave the circle

ask Ss to read or remember
the words
- Continue until all the circles are empty
The Ss-now have to remember all the
words
- Get Ss to come to the board and fill the
circles with the correct words
- Get Ss to read the reading passage
and answer the questions
