Terminal maintenance

Trang 7

Determining the Installation Position

 Determine the cabinet installation position based on the design drawings

If no design drawing is available, confirm the position with the customer

 The cabinet may be installed on the cement floor or anti-static floor This slide only introduces how to install the cabinet on the cement floor

 Key points:

1 Take the future expansion into consideration

2 Pay attention to the positions where the power supply, grounding cable, and antenna feeder are lead in and adjust them when necessary

the hole of the expansion bolt

 Ensure the space between the two lower frames

2 Level the lower frame.

Key points:

 Use the horizontal ruler.

 Ensure that two directions of the cabinet are level

 The leveling pad is inserted to the correct place.

Trang 13

Insulation Test and Cabinet Installation

1 Insulation test:

Key points:

 Use the mega ohm range of the

multimeter

 Test the insulation between the cabinet

and the floor.

 The test is passed if the resistance is

larger than 5 mega ohm

2 Level and fasten the cabinet.

Key points:

 Place the cabinet in position and push

the cabinet in horizontally

 Use the horizontal ruler.

 Ensure that two directions of the cabinet

are level

 Ensure that the cabinet is installed

vertically

 The installation order of the insulation

covering, spring washer, and flat washer

is correct

 The expansion bolts are diagonally

fastened in turn

The installation order of the insulation covering, spring washer, and flat washer is correct

Trang 14

Installing the Air Breaker Box, Fan Box, and Sub racks

From top to bottom, the cabinet is installed with:

1 Air breaker box

2 Sub racks

3 Fan box

Trang 15

Installing the Air Breaker Box

 Slide in the air breaker box along the

guide rail After it is in position, fasten

the screws on the panel

Trang 16

Installing Sub racks

 Before installing or removing

the CDU sub rack, TRX sub

rack, or common unit sub rack,

remove the rear door of the

cabinet, and unplug all power

connectors on the backplane of

the sub rack The installation

procedure is opposite to the

removal procedure

Trang 17

Installing Sub racks

Trang 18

Installing the Fan Box

 Slide the fan box in along the

guide rail After it is in position,

fasten the screws on the panel

Trang 19

Installation of Boards and Functional Modules in the Cabinet

Key points:

Confirm that the settings of DIP switch on

the backplane are correct

If you bring the board into the equipment

room from outside in winter, do not

unpack and install the board immediately

Check that the installation slot is correct

The fastening screws of the board must

be tightened

Empty slots must be installed with

dummy panels

Trang 20

Installing Boards and Functional Modules in the Cabinet

CDUs are installed in the

CDU sub rack, TRXs in the

TRX sub rack, and PSUs ,

PMUs in the common unit sub

rack

You may need to remove the

front and rear doors of the

cabinet when installing the sub

racks

Trang 21

Installing Boards and Functional Modules in the Cabinet (Precautions)

Anti-static requirements:

Boards and modules have

electrostatic sensitive

components Thus, observe the

anti-static requirements when

installing or replacing boards or

modules

Trang 22

Installing Boards and Functional Modules in the

Cabinet (Precautions)

 Before installing a board or module:
