Presentation

Pre-listening White –listening

T : what can you see in the picture

Ss : answer

T : introduces the words “ amusement center”

T : are there any amusement centers in your neighborhood / town / village ?

Ss : yes , there are

T : Do you often go to an amusement center ?

Ss : Play games

Now listen to the tape : Lan and Ba are talking about video games

T : Opens the tape

Ss : listen ( book closed )

T :explains some mew words

T : Asks to repeat the new words

Ss : repeat ( class , individuals )

- Students listen and repeat after the tape ( class split half to play 2 role ) ( twice with books opened )

- Pair work ( practicing the dialogue in pairs and answering the questions , page 147 )
