The simple present tense Cấu tạo: S + V(s es) Cách dùng: Thì hiện tại đơn diễn tả một thói quen hay việc thường làm ở giai đoạn hiện tại. Ví dụ: Nurses look after patients in hospitals. Lưu ý: Đối với các chủ ngữ là ngôi thứ nhất số ít hoặc số nhiều, ngôi thứ 2 số ít hoặc số nhiều và ngôi thứ 3 số nhiều thì động từ theo sau nó ở dạng nguyên mẫu không có “to”. Đối với các chủ ngữ là ngôi thứ 3 số ít thì động từ theo sau nó được thêm “s” hoặc “es”, nếu những động từ đó tận cùng bằng các chữ cái “ch, s, sh, ss, tch, x, z, zz” thì chúng ta thêm “es”, những động từ còn lại thì chúng ta thêm “s”. Ví dụ: watch  watches Kiss  kiss Stop  stops Đối với các động từ tận cung bằng “y” thì ta phải chuyển “y” thành “i” trước khi them “es”. Ví dụ: study  studies Fly  flies Trường hợp động từ “play” và “stay” và một số động từ có dạng tương tự chúng ta chỉ thêm “s”. Ví dụ: play  plays Stay  stays các trạng từ thường đi kèm trong thì hiện tại đơn là: always, sometimes, often, usually, never, every day, every week, every year……….. II. Indefinite quantifier: “much, many, a lot of, lots of” much và many Chúng ta dung “much” với danh từ không đếm được và “many” với danh từ đếm được Ví dụ: much time much luck much energy Many friends many students many rooms “much” và “many” chủ yếu được dùng trong câu phủ định và câu hỏi Ví dụ: We don’t have much time Have you got many friends? A lot of và lots of Chúng ta dung “a lot of” và “lots of” với danh từ không đếm được và danh từ số nhiều. Ví dụ: a lot of lots of time Chúng ta thường dung “a lot of” và “ lots of” trong câu khẳng định Ví dụ: There is a lot of rain today Copy down ( Whole class ). Make dialouges in pairs. * Cách dùng: Thì hiện tại đơn diễn tả một thói quen hay việc thường làm ở giai đoạn hiện tại

Ví dụ: Nurses look after patients

* Lưu ý: -Đối với các chủ ngữ là ngôi thứ nhất số ít hoặc số nhiều, ngôi thứ 2 số ít hoặc số nhiều và ngôi thứ 3 số nhiều thì động từ theo sau nó ở dạng nguyên mẫu

* Lưu ý: - Hiện tại phân từ được thành lập bằng cách them “ing” vào sau dạng nguyên thể của độngtừ

- Có một số động từ tận cùng bằng “e” câm , ta phải bỏ “e” này

đi trước khi them “ing” vào sau

* Lưu ý: -Động từ chia ở thì quákhứ đơn có 2 dạng : Nếu là động

từ có quy tắc ta thêm “ed” vàođộng từ nguyên mẫu Nếu là động

từ bất quy tắc phải xem và họcthuộc lòng ở cột thứ 2 của bảngđộng từ bất quy tắc

Ví dụ: learned studied

-Thì quá khứ đơn thường đượcdùng với các cụm từ chỉ thời gianxác định ở quá khứ như: last week/month/ year…………,a week/ twodays/ five months/ three years ago,yesterday, yesterday morning/evening, in + năm, from 1945 to
