Unit: INTRODUCTION & REVISION

I.AIMS AND OBJECTIVES :

* Language content:

-To introduce the students the program of English 7

-To help the sts review all basic grammatical points that they learnt in class 6

- To enable the sts to know the way of learning English 7 effectively

- To help the sts revise some main points relating to the pronouns & tenses

II.TEACHER AND STUDENTS’ PREPARATION:

1 Method: Communicative approach.

2 Techniques: Explanation, Question- Answer, Gap- filling, Example- Drill

3 Material needed: Textbook, Workbook, Sub board, Chart

4 Students’ preparation: Review the tenses

5 Previous exercise: No

III.PROCEDUCE IN CLASS:

1 Stabilization: 3ms

a) Warm up: What’s the weather like today?

b) Checking absence: Asks the monitor for the sts’ attendance

2 Checking up the previous knowledge : No checking

1.The construction of English 7:

- Asks the sts to read the first page of the textbook and give remarks on:

+ How many units?

+ How many sections are there

in each unit?

+ What is there in the end of the

- Look through the textbook and give remarks

Unit: INTRODUCTION & REVISION Period :1

I INTRODUCTION

1.The construction of English 7:

+ It composes 16 units from

book?

- Gives feedback + It composes 16 units from 6 main subjects

+ Each unit has 2 sections:

section A and section B

+ Each section is developed, following the steps: introduction ( the content, the language), practice and conclusion

+ Besides 16 units, English 7 has the part called “Language Focus” after 2 or 3 units This part helps students review and consolidate the main grammar points in these units

+At the end of the textbook there is a glossary about vocabulary and grammar points

in the program of English 7

2 The method of learning:

- Asks the sts to give their own method of learning English-Gives feedback

+students must have a good aim of learning, must be eager with the subject

+ students should study by themselves, and try to practice with friends

+ students should practice in pairs, in groups with discipline

+ use the textbook with the exercise book to have a chance

to practice many times

+students should learn the old lesson very well, do homework before going to class

Students should combine the 4 skills : listening, speaking, reading, writing when learning English Try to practice listeningthe tape regularly to have good pronunciation

“Language Focus” after 2 or

3 units This part helps students review and consolidate the main grammar points in these units + At the end of the

textbook there is a glossary about vocabulary and

grammar points in the program of English 7

- To help the sts distinguish the difference between “ Nice to see/meet you” and “ Nice to see/meetyou again”

- To enable the students to understand the text and then ask and answer about Hoa

* Language function:

- To help the sts how to make greetings

- To enable them to introduce themselves & the others

* Educational aims:

- To extend sts’ knowledge about culture of countries in many parts.

- To make the sts aware of the importance of greeting people around
