1 Introduction:

According to the request of my event organization company, I will provide costed plan for a Halloween party for students from the international education department of FTU II This report will have three main contents: marketing strategy, human resource

requirements, and financial details In addition, every decision I make will have a justification.

2 Marketing mix:

Through the survey, we know the needs of international students at FTU II for a Halloween party (LINK SURVEY)

2.1 Product:

- We decided to plan the Halloween party because the students thought this party:

• Provides an opportunity for them to connect and make many new friends

• Show their creativity by dressing up as their favorite characters

• Become more acquainted with Western culture

• Have a fun playtime.

- We will organize the party on the lawn because it is not only the most popular choice (83 votes) but also has the capacity of serving up to 2000 guests (according to Van Thanh Tourist Village) Therefore, the lawn is very suitable for party games

• The four activities with the greatest amount of votes

• There are four activities that will make the party more exciting because too few games are one of the reasons that makes them discontented in a party (according to the survey)

• These four activities that are appropriate for a Halloween party

- We will provide parking in the Van Thanh tourism area parking lot to avoid customers having to struggle to find a place to park their vehicles.

- The party will be held on Saturday or Sunday because most students prefer to attend a party on weekends, according to a survey (102 votes).

- According to the students, they want the party to take place in the evening the most (98 votes) and the time they are willing to spend for the party with the highest number of votes is 3-4 hours (81.5%)

- Gifts : each activity will choose three winners who will get a Halloween t-shirt

- We will not provide food or drinks at this party since the students prefer to spend their time enjoying activities, don't want to affect their makeup, and seem to be terrified of sharing a table with strangers

- We will provide a cleaning service before and after the party because 82 respondents (1st highest) expressed dissatisfaction with the venue's poor hygine.

- Decoration services : create a Halloween atmosphere to attract participants and make the party less boring.

- Prepare program planning (questions, "treasure," hiding place, gift, dance band,…) for activities so that the program runs smoothly.

- Vehicle security service and security service : ensure the safety of customers' property to make customers feel safe enough to participate in the party

- MC : lighten the mood and guide the program's activities

- Lighting and sound services : make the party lively and spooky

- LED screen : help customers to see the stage and keeping track of the program's progress

• The cost of “treasure hunt” activity is 3,400VND/person

• Staff hiring costs is 113,000VND/person

• Photography and video cost 3,400VND/person

• Preparation for possible risks cost 8,400VND/person

 Total cost: 344,200VND/per person

- Total cost plus 10% profit (target revenues)=378,620VND

- As a result, in order to conduct a successful Halloween party, the goal number of customers must be 600, with a ticket price approximately equals to 380,000VND/per ticket Each ticket we will earn 35,800VND=>the total profit: 21,480,000VND (minus the gifts’ cost, it would be 20,660,000VND)

- This ticket price is also very suitable for the amount of money customers are willing to pay for the Halloween party, which ranges from 350,000 VND to 400,000 VND, accounting for 77.8 % (84 votes out of 108 respondents)

- Top 10 people who come to the party earliest will be given 1 Peanut Filled Chocolate Snickers candy bar (Energy Bar) 35g when checking tickets at the counter

Advertising:

- Advertising promotion : Halloween is one of the festivals that helps us access the customs and habits of Western culture This is also an opportunity to expand the relationship between all students of the international education department as well as create a playground for them to have fun

- Our company will choose to advertise the party information on Facebook in the evening because this is the media as well as the time period most used by customers

- We will contact the following Facebook pages to inform customers about the party: Đào tạo quốc tế - ĐH Ngoại Thương TP.HCM, FTU Connection, FTUNEWS, FTU Zone since they are news and information sites that link with international education department’s students.

2.5 People:

The staff needed for this party will include 49 people:
