Unit 1: Family life
1.Tell about your family?
- There are four/ five people in my family They are my dad, my mother, my brother/ sister etc…
2.Who do the housework in your family?
- It is my mother/ We share the housework My mother cooks meals, My father is the breadwinner and the heavy lifting I take out the rubbish/ wash the dists/ do the laundry
3.Why should/shouldn’t children do the housework?
- I think children should do the housework because doing housework helps them develop life skill and teachers them to take responsibility, helps strengthen family bonds etc…
- I think children shouldn’t do the housework because they should be given plenty of playtime/ they may break or damage things,/they need more time to study and do homework
Unit 2: Humans and the enviromen
1 What do you usually do the weekends ,… ?
- I usually join activities in the my school’s Go Green Club
2 Can you tell me about the club?
- It was set by the Youth Union in my school Its aim is to improve our environment and encourage people to adopt
a greener lifestyle
3.Detainly, what do you do?
- We clean up the school and organize more activities to raise local people’s awareness of environmental issues, reduce carbon footprint We can do a lot to protect our environment
4 What should or shouldn’t you do to live green
- I think we should do for green lives.There are many things that we should or shouldn’t do to live green We should recycle our used items so that we can protect natural resources We shouldn’t drop litter in the street
because this will make the street dirty and pollute the environment
Unit 3 Music

Why do you like the singer or the music band best?
- I like …… singer/ and music band…… I like best Because he /she has beautiful voice, modern style etc…

3 Can you tell me about a TV music show?
One of my favorite TV music shows is The Voice of Vietnam It is a singing competition on television purchased from the original “The Voice” by Cat Tien Sa and broadcasted in Vietnam starting from July 8, 2022 on VTV3 channel
I know this program through some means of media such as TV and magazines
The Voice is rated as one of the most popular entertainment programs This comes from not only the coaches - the outstanding faces of the entertainment industry but also how to choose contestants attractively
There are some reasons why 1 like it Firstly, it’s new and different from other shows The typical feature of the program is that in the blind audition, in order to select contestants for 4 teams, the coaches will rotate the seats back to the stage and only choose the contestants basing on their singing voice The program’s criterion that the voice is more concerned than the appearance is considered as the new point and has attracted a large number of viewers In addition, the coaches are Vietnamese leading singers and composers They have got a sense of humor and a real enthusiasm for potential young singers, which partially helps them reduce stress
The show is interesting and it’s worth watching it!
Unit4 For a better community

2 Do you love your country? – Yes , I always love my country.
3 What do you usually volunteer to work? – I usually work as a volunteer by cleaning up my school and helping
the old , homeless old people , disadvantaged/ orphan children etc…
4 Can you tell me some benefits of volunteering activities ?
Yes, I think the volunteering activities help us to gain life experience/ come into contact with other teenagers with similar interests/ improve essential life skills that will get you a job or time managerment skills / appreciate the good things in life and being positive/ find a sense of purpose in life
Unit 5 Inventions
1 Can you tell me some greatest inventions in the 20 th century?
- They are the internet / smartphone/ computer / robots/ artificial intelligence etc …
2 Do you like to have them? – Like normal people I would like to have them very much.
3 What do they have benefits?
- Help us in our life in work/ at home/ traffic/ the most important in learning foreign langguages
In work: we can work from long distance / do work more effectively, easily etc…
At home: they help us do householdchores with economical labour-devices, such as washing machine/robo – vacuum etc …
4 Please, tell me about the uses of the inventions?
improves quality of communication Before computer was invented, the communication is so difficult that talking with others too far away Now, computers bring people closer together For example, people can communicate with others in the world by using e-mail It saves their time compared with letter
