is not common for men to wear a suit, but instead a simple shirt with a little pattern with a pair of dark trousers Jeans may not be appropriate casual wear for both men and women, especially when working for a government agency To go to work, many Vietnamese boys wear Oxfords, Derbies, or loafers Some people wear sneakers, sneakers, etc

WOMEN

Before 1945, the costumes of the Vietnamese people were heavily influenced by

feudalism and were divided according to social classes. When it comes to events in the ancient Vietnamese wearing culture, the traditional ao dai is the evening dress that many women are most interested in Many people like basic colored dresses and skirts that are appealing and elegant in appearance High bun hairstyles were popular among ancient women Since then, Vietnamese fashion has advanced at a quick pace, with the theme of costumes receiving more attention Vietnamese citizens have begun to wear fashionable clothing in order to keep up with global fashion trends Many women in today's Vietnamese wearing culture like evening dresses that are sophisticatedly made to highlight the body's beauty Women should wear suits or skirts with high necklines over pullovers or other tops Choose soothing, neutral colors like beige and brown

In Vietnam, businesswomen should dress modestly in suits or skirts with a high neckline

on a shirt or other top Women should make sure their skirts don't go past their knees

Flat shoes or extremely low heels are the main footwear options for ladies, especially if you are substantially taller than your hosts, due to the reliance on traditional, modest dress in Vietnamese business culture Only a formal reception hosted by a foreign envoy calls for high

heels Jeans aren't always appropriate for both men and women, especially when working for the government

The American workplace dress code has become more relaxed over the last decade, with

a focus on convenience rather than tradition Formal attire is frequently worn for specialized jobs, such as back, or for special occasions and celebrations In the United States, dress codes differ greatly based on a person's location, industry, geography, and specific business

arrangements It's always a good idea to dress up for the initial meeting and then figure out what

to wear to the next gathering It is not uncommon in the United States to see people dressed in a variety of styles at the same conference You won't mind dressing up after your first meeting, or even dressing better than other attendees You will notice that your American partner dresses more casually than you On most days you should be able to wear a nice dress or button-down shirt, however standards may vary by country

MEN

Suits are a type of professional apparel for men that consists of a pair of pants and a matching jacket, as well as a tie in the same color as their suit and accessories Wear dark shoes with matching socks and a belt to complete the look Socks should match your shoes, shorts, or full outfit, and be long enough to stretch over the leg when sitting so that the skin on your foot is not exposed

However, still many people do not wear a vest to work as a regular thing, they will usually just wear a company uniform or some suit that helps them feel comfortable when

working but still looks neat and polite like is a pair of trousers and a simple clean shirt

WOMEN

Women have more options when it comes to dress variety as they can also wear skirts, however skirts must be knee-length or longer In addition, they frequently wear off-shoulder tops with jackets and bright cool fabric shirts to appear more opulent For the initial meeting,

businesswomen can wear business suits, blouses, or casual slacks

Formal shoes, heels, loafers, open-toe and closed-toe leather shoes, and clean, polished attire are all appropriate options

Vietnam

People in Vietnam use conventional accessories to demonstrate their riches and status; they want to stand out, and they rarely consider whether the accessories are appropriate

Vietnamese people frequently choose the appropriate accessories To improve the appeal of events, choose bright, shiny colors In Vietnam, wearing or carrying an item to a meeting

demonstrates money, and because it is obvious that it is a luxury, people will have high

expectations of you If you wear too many accessories, though, you may make a negative

impression on people

MEN

Men in Vietnam, like most other countries, wear leather belts, ties, watches, towels in vest pockets, and glasses In addition, they also have wallets and bags Few men are self-assured enough to wear rings Many Vietnamese men believe that a wedding band is the only ring a man should wear

Moreover, a pocket scarf or a hat that matches the outfit Although it is just a few small accessories, it can be the highlight of the whole outfit to help a woman become more luxurious and youthful

In the United States, people frequently choose dark, simple, and compact accessories to

go with their outfits, and these accessories will reveal part of the owner's personality and

lifestyle Because call centers are an informal working environment, domestic gems are plentiful There is no need to label titles or heirlooms Decide on your best Sunday instead Conservators,

on the other hand, say that a modest gold bracelet, souvenir jewelry, or an exceptional ring appears clean Choose one or two items of jewelry to complete your ensemble

MEN

In international business, accessories are accepted by wearing only a simple or minimal accessory.Belts are simple, yet they are preferred by many guys all over the world since they serve to tie an outfit together

Ties and bows make suits and men look sleek and professional, which is why they're frequently used at formal gatherings, just as bows are Some gentlemen wearing a tie clip with cufflinks just adds a little something to your gentleman style

They also wear a scarf that matches the color of their belt or other accessories to

complete the fashionable look Finally, for businesspeople, watches are the most important thing

WOMEN

It's critical that the earrings or necklace complement the outfit's color scheme Leather handbags and wallets for women are also vital work essentials for many women around the world

Hats, belts, sunglasses, watches, and other accessories are worn by a few women

Women, on the other hand, are frequently chastised for wearing too many accessories at once or for wearing too showy accessories The outfit people will lose points as a result of this

3 Color

Light and dark colored suits and ties, as in most other countries, fit into Vietnamese corporate culture

Clothes that are too bright or too bright can create a negative impression on your travel companion To create a complete outfit, the color coordination of the costumes is also very important

When employees connect with customers, some businesses in Vietnam adopt a dress code

to build their identity Employees who wear the same color scheme will have a lot in common

As a result, the group will be more united

Trang 13

For Vietnamese people, red and yellow are symbols of prosperity; red represents

development, and later earth, agriculture and growth These colors were mainly worn by royalty, the rich and powerful during the feudal period

White and purple, on the other hand, were the most popular hues in the West, including America Purple is connected with luxury, while white is regarded pure and honest Since the Renaissance, clothing, on the other hand, has progressed at a dizzying pace As the luxury market increases, bright hues are becoming increasingly fashionable

In general, conservative colors are considered more professional and acceptable for business-related settings An ideal business suit includes a suit with a light collared shirt, a matching tie and a pair of formal calfskin boots Clothes in dull colors, such as dark, navy, gray

or brown, are the most popular and have traditionally been considered the pinnacle of business form

Wear these conservative colors in plain blocks rather than in a patterned pattern The main suit should be in moderation, but lighter colors can be combined with accessories For example, men's square ties and bags and women's scarves

4 Style

Vietnameses dress modestly and avoid exposing too many body lines Dressing in

accordance with ancient practices is deemed necessary in order to maintain what Vietnamese people seek to pass down from generation to generation In national celebrations, for example, Vietnamese people frequently wear traditional clothes such as Ao Dai In addition, to distinguish themselves, certain ethnic groups in Vietnam wear distinctive clothes

In Vietnamese business culture, light colored suits and ties are the norm Light color does not match The accepted style of dress for a business meeting in Vietnam is conservative - a dark, unfussy suit and tie is customary for men However, in Vietnam the weather is quite hot, so it is not necessary to wear a vest, men usually only wear trousers and a simple shirt with a belt Women wear traditional Vietnamese ao dai during some anniversaries In addition, they will wear a suit or skirt (knee-length or knee-length) and some accessories of the same color

Due to the emphasis on conservation, casual wear in Vietnamese commercial culture, flats or very low heels are the most popular footwear alternatives for women, especially if you are considerably taller High heels are appropriate for a formal meeting organized by an external ambassador Long pants may not be appropriate casual wear for both men and women, especially

if you work for the government
