Disassembly & Re-assembly

Overview

Please pay special attention to the precautions as follows to prevent any damages to the LCD Monitor and also select the appropriate tools for disassembly and re-assembly

Disassembly Procedure

Please follow the information provided in this section to perform the complete disassembly procedure of the LCD monitor Be sure to use proper tools described

in the previous chapter

SUS MM17T and MM19 SE/TE LCD monitor consist of various subsystem This section describes the procedures for LCD monitor disassembly In addition, the detailed disassembly procedures of individual modules will be provided for your service needs

The disassembly procedure consists of the following steps:

• III Front Bezel Subsystem

1 Unlock the clips and take out the base (A)

2 Remove 4 screws on the Back Cover

The illustrations below show how to remove the LCD panel from the LCD Subsystem

R E M O V A L 1 Remove 5 screws

2 Insert the sticker in the gap and slide along the side to dismount back cover

B Removing Main Shield

2 Unplug LCD-inverter cables (A), key-control cable (B) and speaker cables (C)

3 Remove Main Shield and unplug LVDS cable from Main Board

4 Place panel on well protected sponge, unscrew Panel_BKT_L&R and unplug LVDS cable carefully

1 Lift Key Pad vertically to dismount from Front Bezel

Assembly Procedure

procedure for LCD monitor Be sure to use proper tools described in the first

chapter

The assembly procedure consists of the following steps:

• III Front Bezel Subsystem

2 Place board modules inside Main Shield and tighten 9 screws on board and 4 on the I/O connectors

II Front Bezel Subsystem

B Key pad

1 Tighten 2 screws on the L and R speaker

S P E A K E R

2 Make sure LVDS cable is well connected between Panel and Main Board Slide Main Shield and fix into clips

3 Connect Panel-invert cables (A,B)

4 Insert key-control board & speaker wires into Key Board

5 Fix Key Board in the space and tighten 2 screws on Key Board

5 Tighten 2 screws

6 Mount Back Cover
