LESSON 3: READ

I OBJECTIVES:

Teaching aim: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to get some knowledge about Wonders of the world, develop reading skill

II PREPARATIONS: Book, cassette tape, pictures

III PROCEDURES:

1 Warm – Up: (5’)

- Have students play game “Hangman”

2 Pre - Reading: (10’)

- Play the tape for students 2 times

- Explain new words:

+ compile (n)

+ claim (v)

+ honor (adj)

+ god (male) # godless(female) (n)

+ religion (n)

+ royal (adj)

- Have students: “Slap the board”

- Have students read the statements and choose T/F
