I OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- Make invitation and accept or refuse invitations

- Ask and answer questions; practice the dialogue

- Practice listening and reading skill

II PREPARATIONS:

Textbook, cassette tape

VI PROCEDURES:

1 WARM – UP: (5’)

Have students play game: “Networks”

2 PRESENTATION: (10’)

- Have students look at the picture and answer the

questions:

+ How many people are there?

+ What are they doing?

- Comment and introduce the situation of the dialogue

- Read the dialogue and introduce the new words and

phrases:

+ Assignment (n)

+ At the moment:

+ Come on (v)

+ It’ll be fun:

+ There aren’t any good movies on at the moment:

- Explain the structure suggestions / offer :

+ What should we + V- inf……….?:

+ What about + V-ING …?:

- Call some students to read the dialogue to check

pronunciation

- Ask students to read the dialogue again and give the

main ideas

- Have students read and write the answers to check the

mistakes
