I Objectives:

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to greet and self – introduce

II Languages focus:

- Vocabulary: hi, hello

- Sentence patterns: Hello I’m Mai / Hi, Mai.

III Teaching methods:

- Communicative method

- Techniques: Chatting, slap the board, picture drill, mapped dialogue

IV Teaching aids:

- Teacher’s aids: student’s and teacher’s book, word cards, pictures, tape, cassette, puppets

- Students’ aids: books, notebooks, workbooks
