Act 2 : Presentation.

Puppet A : What’s your name ? Puppet B : My name is ( Kate ).
-Sts repeat three times in chorus at natural speed

-Divide the class into groups and practice the question and answer pattern

-Use puppets to model the dialogue
Puppet A : Hello My name is ( John ).What’s your name?

-Have the class practice in two groups, using their own names
Act 3: Open your books.
-Open your book to page 3 and show it to the Sts Point out the characters and name them The Sts repeat the names
-Sts open their books to page 3 Play the cassette The Sts listen and point to John when they hear his name Stop the cassette after verse 1
-Play verse again Sts sing along
-Play the rest of the song Sts listen and point to the characters as they hear their names
Act 4: Practice.
-Sing the song into groups Group A sings the verse 1, group B sings the verse 2, after all sing the last verse
-Reverse roles and sing again
