☺Không phải mọi tính từ (TT) và trạng từ (TrT) đều có thể dùng để so sánh Trong tiếng anh, các TT và TrT sau không biến đổi sang dạng so sánh:
+ TT chỉ màu sắc, hình dạng
+ TrT chỉ mức độ, tần suất trừ OFTEN
☺Chia TT làm 2 dạng:
+ TT ngắn: _1 âm tiết
2 âm tiết, kết thúc = “y”
+ TT dài: 2 âm tiết trở lên
☺Chia TrT làm 2 dạng:
+ TrT ngắn: không có đuôi “ly”
+ TrT dài: có đuôi “ly”
I So sánh ngang bằng:
S + V + as/ so + TT/ TrT + as
Eg: He is as tall as me
She learned as hard as I do
II So sánh hơn:
1 TT ngắn: S + ĐTTG/ To be + TT ngắn + “er” + (than …….)
– TT kết thúc = “e” ~> + “r”
