I Aims and objectives :

* Language content :

-To introduce some new words relating to activities of a truck driver

- To enable the sts to master the way of using the present progressive tense

- To help the sts to improve the ability of making “Yes- No questions” for the present progressive tense

*Language function :

-To widen the students’ knowledge about life

- To encourage them to ask and answer about the activities what are happening

*Educational aim :

- To make the sts aware of the importance of means

- To educate the sts to work orderly

1. Language :

a Vocabulary: -truck(n); farm (n); farmer (n); food stall(n); load(v); copy (v) ; correct (v)

b Structures: - He is going to a farm.- A farmer is waiting for him

- Is he/ she working? Yes, he/ she is

- Are they working? Yes, they are / No, they aren’t

2 Skills : Speaking – Listening - Reading - Writing

3 Educational factor:Knowing and understanding about the lifestyle of everybody.

Then calls some pairs to ask

and answer in front of the class

III/ Controlled- Practice :

- Lets the sts to listen to the

tape 2 times and rearrange the

above sentences in the right

order

- Calls some sts to give the

answers

- Plays the tape third time, stop

by stop, then give feedback

- Calls some sts to read the text

again

- Lets the sts to listen to the

tape 2 times without the books

and guess what Ba/ Tuan /

Huong and Nga are doing

- Plays the tape third time, and

has the sts repeat

- Asks the sts to work in pairs

and practice the dialogue

-Calls some pair to practice in

front of the class

- Asks them to work in groups ,

answer the questions basing on

the content of the dialogue

- Guess the meanings of the words
