2 Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn ( The present progressive tense):

Diễn tả kế hoạch , dự định trong tương lai ( gần)

(+) S + am/is/are + Ving

Eg/ We are playing games now / This weekend, we are visiting our grandparents )

(-) S + am not/isn’t/aren’t + Ving

Eg/ He isn’t doing his homework at the moment

(?)Am / Is/ Are+ S + Ving ? Yes, S + am/is/are / No, S + am not/isn’t/ aren’t.

Eg/ Are Long and Tung waiting for a train? Yes, they are/ No, they aren’t

3 ( The simple future tense):

(+): S will / shall + Vo

(-) : S + won’t / shan’t + Vo

( ?) : Will / Shall + S + Vo ?

( *) : Wh + will / shall + S + Vo ?

4 Động từ khuyết thiếu “ Must” (Modal verb “must”):

>Must: Dùng để diễn đạt mệnh lệnh( order), nghĩa vụ ( obligation)

> Mustn’t: Dùng để diễn đạt sự cấm đoán ( không được phép)

>(+): S + must + Vo

( -) : S + mustn’t + Vo

5 “should”( Nghĩa: “nên”)

- Dạng phủ định: should not = shouldn’t ( Nghĩa: “không nên”)

> Dùng để đưa ra lời khuyên( advices)

(+): S + should + Vo.( Eg/We should behave well)

(-) : S + shouldn’t + Vo (Eg/ We shouldn’t fight)

(?) : Should + S + Vo ? Yes, S + should/ No, S + shouldn’t.

(Eg/ Should we plant trees? Yes, we should)

6 Cách chuyển danh từ số ít sang số nhiều

- thêm “s” vào sau danh từ đó.

- Với những DT kết thúc “o, ch, s, sh, x” thì khi sang số nhiều ta thêm “es”

- Với những DT kết thúc “y”, trước “y” là phụ âm, chuyển “y” thành “i” rồi thêm

“es” - (Eg/ a dictionary > dictionaries.)

- Một số trường hơp đặc biệt:

- a child > children - a woman > women

- a man > men - a person > people

7 Preposition of places / time:

- near, next to, in front of, behind, on , under , in, opposite, to the left of, to the right

of, between + place.

- on, in , at + time

8 Cấu trỳc : There is/ are

a

- Có một: There is a/ an + N

Eg/ There is a post office in front of my house

- There are + Ns/es +

Eg/ There are hotels opposite his school.

b Hỏi xem cú phải cú bao nhiờu…khụng?

- Is there a/ an + N .? Yes, there is/ No, there isn’t.

Eg/ Is there a police station near your house? Yes, there is/ No, there isn’t

- Are there + any +Ns/es ? Yes, there are/ No, there aren’t.

Eg/ Are there any bookstores near your house? Yes, there are/ No, there aren’t

9 Cỏch dựng tớnh từ:

a.Đứng sau “to be”: S + be + adj

Eg/ This supermarket is big./ He is creative

b Đứng trước danh từ

Eg/ That is a beautiful girl

10 Giới từ

Eg/ The restaurant is between the drugstore and the toystore

The movie theater is to the right of the bakery

The cat is under the pillow

11 Hỏi về phương tiện đi lại

How+ do/does + S + go/travel to school/ work?-> S + go/goes + by + car.

travel/travels -> S + walk/walks( to school/work )

Eg/ How do you go to school? > I go by bike / I go to school on foot

How does her father travel to HCM city? He travels by plane

12 Cỏch dựng động từ “ to be” + tớnh từ để miờu tả người/ vật:

a Hỡnh dỏng, vẻ bề ngoài của người hoặc vật: S + be + adj.

Eg/ He is tall./ They are very short

b.Cảm giỏc , trạng thỏi: S + be + adj

Eg/ He is quite hungry / We are hot and tired

13 Cỏch miờu tả khuụn mặt, mỏi túc, đụi mắt với động từ “ have”:

- S + have/ has + (a/an) + adj + N.

Eg/ She has an oval face./ I have long hair

14 Cỏch hỏi đỏp về ý muốn , ý thớch:

- Tức thỡ: What would + S + like? > S + would like + N / to + Vo.

Eg/ What would you like? I’d like some water./ I’d like to play soccer

+ Thể hiện lời mời/ câu đề nghị lịch sự:

Would you like + N / to + Vo? > Yes, please; Yes, I’d love to/ No, thanks

Eg/ Would you like some iced tea?/ Would you like to go to the zoo?

15 Cỏch dựng của cấu trỳc “There + be ” với “some” và “any”

trong câu khẳng định

- “Any”: đứng trước danh từ không đếm được và danh từ đếm được ở số nhiều trong

câu phủ định và câu hỏi nghi vấn

- : There isn’t any (milk)./ There isn’t a chair here

? : Is there any ( beef)? Yes, there is/ No, there isn’t

b There are :

+ : There are some ( noodles)

- : There aren’t any ( bananas)

16 Diễn đạt về sở thích:

+: S + like/likes + N/Ving ( Eg/ I like ice cream/ She likes playing volleybal.)

- : S + don’t/ doesn’t like + N / Ving.( I don’t like beef / He doesn’t like

working at the weekend)

? : Do/ Does + S + like + N / Ving?

17 Nói về mức độ thường xuyên của hành động với các trạng từ chỉ mức độ thường xuyên:

( always, usually, often, sometimes, never )

a S + adv + V

Eg/ We sometimes have a picnic

b S + be + adv +

Eg/ They are never late for school

18 Câu yêu cầu, đề nghị:

* Ai đó cùng làm gì

a Let’s + Vo

19 So sánh hơn và so sánh nhất của tính từ ( Comparative and superlative of adjectives) :

a Tính từ ngắn ( Short adjs):

- Tính từ ngắn là tính từ chỉ có một âm tiết

- Tính từ dài là tính từ có hai âm tiết trở lên

- Các tính từ dài có hai âm tiết mà có tận cùng là “y” cũng có quy tắc so sánh giống như tính từ ngắn

b Tính từ dài( Long adjs):

>S + be + more + adj + than S + be + the most + adj
