A Theory

1) Thì tương lai đơn:

- Chỉ lời hứa, việc không có chuẩn bị trước

Ví dụ: A - My bag is so heavy!

B – No worry! I will carry it for you

- Diễn đạt ý kiến cá nhân (Không có cơ sở ở hiện tại)

Ví dụ: I think he will come here tomorrow

2) Thì tương lai gần: - Chỉ một hành động đã có ý định làm

- Chỉ một dự đoán dựa trên “evidence” ở hiện tại

Ví dụ:

- Oh, your language is ready now What time are you going to leave ?

- Look at those grey clouds! It is going to rain soon

3) Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn:

- Chỉ hành động đã chuẩn bị kế hoạch sẳn, thường có thời gian cụ thể hoặc một kế hoạch lớn, quan trọng đã quyết định làm thường có thời gian xác định

Ví dụ:

We are having a party next sunday Would you like to come?

Nói tóm lại, xét về chức năng diễn đạt tương lai chúng ta có thể sắp xếp theo thứ tự từ mạnh (strong) đến yếu (weak) như sau:

Hiện tại tiếp diễn > Tương lai gần> Tương lai đơn

Ex: She is going to be an actress soon

2 Verb:

Ex: We are having a party this weekend

Use:

1 Diễn đạt một quyết định ngay tại thời điểm nói

(On-the-spot decision)

Ex:

Động từ nguyên mẫu không TO được sử dụng trong các trường hợp sau:

1 Sau các động từ khiếm khuyết: can, may,must, will, shall, could, should, might, ought to, would Eg: He can speak 3 languages

2 Sau các động từ chỉ giác quan như: feel, hear, see, watch, let, percieve = notice(nhận thấy), mark (để ý thấy), observe (chú ý thấy), beheld (trông thấy), hard at (lắng nghe)

5 Một số động từ theo sau có thể dùng Gerund or To Infinitive đều không thay đổi nghĩa:
