This Addendum No.2 shall be construed as an integral part of the Tender Documents

ITT Item A8.4 The first paragraph:

The Tenderer shall note that for his reference only in Annexure 6 there is a spread sheet that outlines the Vietnamese Regulations for Approval and Certification of Projects

to those specified in the Employer’s Requirements,

2nd paragraph shall be revised as follows:

The Tenderer shall provide justification, in accordance with Clause 32.1 of the General Specifications, for any codes

or standards it proposes in its list as alternatives or additions to those specified in the Employer’s

ITT Annexure 1 4 The Tenderer’s Technical Proposals shall cover:

4.3 plan, organization and methodology to approach maintenance of Railway System during the 5 years after the date of issue of the Taking Over Certification and additional maintenance supervision and/or works after the first 5 years if necessary;

4.6 plan, organization and methodology to approach knowledge/skill transfer for maintenance of Railway System during 5 years after commencement of revenue service;

<Add following sentence at the end of sub-clause 4.3> Since the Employer gives importance to actual experiences of the Contractor in the maintenance of railway system, the Tenderer is requested to clearly demonstrate the following issues:

- The maintenance experiences of the Tenderer for the following seven railway sub-systems, and/or

- The maintenance experiences of his subcontractors and their future involvements in the 5 year maintenance works (refer to the contents of Annexure 9), for the following seven railway sub-systems:

i) Signalling System ii) Telecommunication System iii) Rolling Stock

iv) Power Supply and Distribution System v) OCS

vi) Trackwork” and vii) AFC

The Commitment letters from the sub-contractors to the Tenderer on the above involvement shall be attached 4.6

ITT Annexure 6 Annexure 6 – VIETNAMESE PROCDURES FOR

APPROVAL AND CERTIFICATION OF PROJECTS

“Annexure 6 – VIETNAMESE PROCDURES FOR APPROVAL AND CERTIFICATION OF PROJECTS” shall

be deleted in its entirety

To the last line: “approval of the Employer.”

The full text from the 1st to the last line shall be read as follows:

“Sub-Clause 13.6: Daywork of General Conditions of Contract shall be deleted in its entirety.”
