Unit 6: My farm Lesson 2

I.Objectives :By the end of the lesson, students will be able to practice Yes/no

question about the main points of an animal

II.Vocabulary:apple ,bird ,cat, dates, eggs, figs, goat, horse,jump, kite

III Method :Teacher-whole class, groups, individuals.

IV Teaching aids :Pictures of things in classroom, aids and CD track CD player

- Have sts look at the picture at page 34,35 and recognize the animals and the actions that Tess and Baz are doing- Have Ss listen to the CD

- Play the track with pause

- Have Ss listen and repeat chorally and individually

- Have Ss practice the structure: Is

it ? Yes ,it is/No ,it is not by pointing the donkey and ask:Is it a donkey ?for Ss to answer No it is not

- Have Ss work in pairs

-Write the letters a, b,c, d, e,h,g,I, f, j, k,on th board,show them and ask Ss

to say the letters and sounds -Point the randam letter and ask Ss to find out the word that is began with this letter c/k/ :coat

- Have Ss look at pictures at page 40

in Activity book and find out the words that have the begining letter A and say them out

- Have Ss colour the letters in their activity book

I Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to say, recognize and

write letter L, l,M,m.and recognize and say the sounds / l /and /m/

II Vocabulary: lemom,lion,mango,moon

III Method :Teacher-whole class, groups, individuals.

IV Teaching aids :Flashcards of girl, give and CD, CD player

- Have students read tha sounds /l/,/m/
