Preparation

Preparing Tools

Tools include the wire stripper, crimping pliers, 30 W to 40W electric iron, and scissor

Disassembled E1 Connector

Three types of trunk connector include SMA, SMB, and BNC

Thread the wire through the jacket and tube in turn

Stripping

Note: Do not strip too much or too less The skin stripped is about 8mm to

Trimming off Extra Shielding Layer

Reserve part of the shielding layer, which should be 2/3 of the internal insulation layer of the trunk

Soldering

Ensure that there is no dry joint and the soldering point is full of soldering tin

Trunk Connection Crimping

Select the right hole on the crimping pliers to crimp the trunk connector

Tightening

After the connector is crimp, tighten the jacket

Conduct test after all above tasks are completed Connect two probes of the multimeter respectively to the inner core and the skin of the trunk connector The resistance should be infinite
