Note:

 Throughout the installation of antenna feeder, preparation of feeder

connector is a very important task Whether the operation is standard and correct directly affects the working performance of the antenna

feeder There are two types of common used feeder connector: 7/16 DIN feeder connector and 7/16 DIN jumper connector You can prepare the connector by the following related connector preparation flow and

specifications

1 Get familiar with the preparation flow

by reading the connector preparation

instructions Prepare the connector

preparation tools and place them in

the easily accessible place

2 Straighten the feeder to be installed

with the connector and strip off a

section of sheath of the feeder with a

guarded knife Keep the notch flat

when stripping the feeder

3 At the place about 28 mm away from

the stripped point, cut off the feeder

with a hacksaw The section must be

flat and on the wave crest of the

feeder

4 Use the expansion tool to expand the

external conductor of the feeder If

the inner or external conductor of the

section of the feeder has burrs, use

the file to remove the burrs

5 Use a brush or tape to remove the

debris of the connector Before

installing the connector, unscrew the

connector first

6 Manually screw the connector on to

the feeder Use one spanner on the

connector cap and remain steady,

and use another spanner to fasten

the screw

7 By now, installation of the feeder

connector is completed Before

connecting the jumper, use a plastic

bag or tape to cover the feeder

connector to prevent any damage

1 Take out the connector preparation

instructions from the package and

get familiar with the preparation

flow Prepare the connector

preparation tools and place them

in the easily accessible place

2 Coat the feeder with heat-shrinkable

tube and use the cable pliers to

remove the external conductor 7mm

away from the connector The section

must be flat

3 Use the guarded knife to carefully

remove the foam and adhesives

without damaging the inner

conductor Cut off the sheath of the

cable 19 mm away from the

connector

4 To facilitate the installation of cover

cap, use the file to remove the 1 mm

of the edge angle of the inner

conductor and brush off the debris

5 Spread the Vaseline onto the jumper,

on which the sheath is removed

Then cover the jumper with the

water-proof rubber band

6 Screw the fastening nut onto the

cable until the pad is in flush with

the fastening nut

7 Fasten the connector cap on the

screw thread Steady the fastening

nut with one spanner and use

another spanner in the front to fasten

the connector cap

8 Use the heat gun to fasten the

heat-shrinkable tube Test the feeder and

use the feeder after the test is

passed

Specifications for Connecting the Antenna Feeder Connector and Jumper Connector

1 Manually connect the jumper with

feeder connector and then use the

spanner to fasten them

2 Wrap the connector: First, wrap

three layers of water-proof daub

Finally, wrap three layer of

insulation tape again After that,

use the bandage to fasten the

connector wrapped with the

insulation tape

3 Wrapping requirement: Wrap one

layer from bottom upward, one layer

from top to bottom, and finally one

layer from bottom upward When

wrapping the tape or daub, make

sure that the upper layer covers 1/3

of the lower layer The daub must be

stretched to 50% The tape must be

wrapped smoothly
