Phần 1: Lý thuyết

1.Chào hỏi:

A Hỏi – Đáp tên:

- What is your name?

- I’m + tên = My name is + tên

2 Hỏi – Đáp tuổi:

- I am + số đếm + years old.

3Hỏi-đáp nơi ở:

- Where do you live ?

- I live + on Tran Phu Street / + in a house / in a city / in Vietnam

4 Hỏi đáp cách đánh vần:

- How do you spell your name?

- T-R-U-N-G, Trung.

5 Hỏi tên một vật:

- What is this?

- It is a ruler.

- What is this?

- It is an eraser.

6 Hỏi tên nhiều vật:

- What are these/ those?

- They are + tên đồ vật.

7 Hỏi đáp về một người hay một vật là của ai đó: (Có phải … của không?)

a) Is this/ that your desk?

-Yes, it is / No, it isn’t.

b) Are these/ those your pens?

- Yes, they are / No, they aren’t.

(This / These : Để chỉ người hoặc vật ở gần That/ Those : Để chỉ người hoặc vật ở xa.)

8 Hỏi một người là ai:

- Who is this/ that?

- This / That is Mr Lam ( tên / danh từ chỉ ngườ.)

9 Hỏi số lượng đếm được:

- How Many + Danh Từ Số Nhiều + Are There?

- How many people are there in your family?

- There is one./ There are two/ three people in my family.

- How many + danh từ s Nhiều +do/does +s + have?

- S + have/ has + số + danh từ s Nhiều.

- How many floors does your school have?

- It has 2 florrs

10 Hỏi vị trí:

- Where is the barkery?( danh từ số ít)

- It’s in front of the policestation

- Where are the + danh từ số nhiều?

- They are in /on the

11 Hỏi lựa chọn với OR:

- Is your school big or small?

- It’s big.

12 Hỏi lựa chọn với WHICH:

- Which class/ grade are you in?

- I‘m in grade 6, class 6a 5.

13 Tính từ sở hữu:

- I→ my; you→ your; we→ our; they→ their; he→ his; she→ her; it → its

- Tính từ sở hữu đặt trước danh từ và bổ nghĩa cho danh từ đó: My book, his pens

14 Thì hiện tại đơn: (Xem phụ bảng)

a) To be: - I am / HE, SHE, IT, S (ít)+ is

- WE, YOU, THEY, S (nhiều)+ are

b) Đôïng từ thường: (go:đi, get up:thức dậy, live: sống, wash: rửa, brush: chải đánh, have: ăn, listen: lắng nghe, read: đọc, play: chơi)

It’s +giờ đúng + o’clock.

It’s +giờ + Phút It’s + half past + giờ

Hành động lặp lại trong hiện tại/ thói quen hiện tại/ sự thật hay chân lý.

Always: luôn luôn, often: thường hay, Usually: thường khi, Sometimes: thỉnh

thoảng, Hardly: hiếm khi, Never: không bao giờ Once a week: mỗi tuần một lần.

VD: Lan often goes to school on every day.

- Hành động xảy ra theo các buổi, ngày, tuần, tháng, mùa:

In the morning/ afternoon/ evening:

vào buổi sáng/ chiều/ tối

On Mondays/ at weekends:

vào các thứ hai, cuối tuần.

In spring/ summer/ autumn/ winter:

vào mùa xuân/ hạ/ thu/ đông.

VD: It rains a lot in summer in Vietnam.
