II/ CONDITIONAL SENTENCES:TYPES ONE & TWO

1/ Present : Type one: real at present

Simple present tense is used in conditional clauses to show that things are likely to happpen the other chauses are in the simple future tense Present tense can be used in two clauses to show something that

will definitely happen.

Ex 1 If it rains this evening, we shall not play the game

2/ Past: type two: unreal at present

AIR POLLUTION Air pollution is a cause of ill health in human beings In a lot of countries there are laws limiting the amount of smoke which factories can produce Although there isn’t enough information on the effects of smoke in the atmosphere, doctors have proved that air pollution cause lung diseases
