Aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
- improve speaking skills
- get more information about the Asian Games
- express their own ideas favorite athletes and games
- know the way of pair-work and group-work
Teaching aids: textbook, pictures, posters, handouts…
Anticipated problems:
- Some Ss may not have enough words to talk about this topic
- Some Ss are confident enough to communicate with other Ss

Game: Guess names
- T gives instruction:
+ you will see pictures of some sports, and then find the names of the sports in number order of the pictures
+ in 2mins, if your team find more correct names, you will be the winner and receive a gift
- T checks instruction
- T chooses 2 teams Each team consists of 4 students
- T gives some names (see appendix) to 2 teams.
- T shows the pictures (see appendix).
- T lets Ss play the game
- T gives feedbacks and rewards the winner
