2.Notes: The present progressive tense

* Ask and answer questions about the students in the pictures: ( p 57 )

- T gives instructions and does the modelling

- Ss work in pair to make questions and answers for the pictures ( a →

* Open prediction : Matching :

-T writes down the four names and four activities on the b.b and does the

modelling

Mai : playing catch

Kien : playing marbles

Lan : skipping rope

Ba : playing blindman's bluff

- Ss discuss in groups of eight and match each name with each activity

- T collects Ss' predictions

2 While- listening :

- T plays the tape ( 2 times ) Ss listen and check their predictions

- T gets feedback from Ss

- T lets Ss listen to the tape one more time and gives the correct answers Answer key
