The purpose of this Method Statement is to describe the methodology for structural work of PILLING WORK (Preboring PHC Pile) and to details out the steps to be taken in meeting the technical requirements of Van Phong 1 thermal power plant project.

Design loading capacity of piles had been verified pursuant to Clause 8.8.2 [Technical specification] Corresponding plan had informed

to client through VP1-0-L4-C-GEN-00020 and the result of test reported though VP1-0-L4-GEN-

1005, 53&54 The working load will be verified

by PDA or compression test Contractor would like to verify the integrity of working pile using PDA

with static loading test before acceptance

We will make evaluation of PDA test compared with static loading test when get the results and report it in the final report

The drop height depend on the hammer which will be used The calcuation of drop height will be added in Rev.B During PDA test, the intergrity of test pile will be checked

The cited documents include lateral and tension tests, thus they they should be

included here as well

provided for the piling machine movement on the site to prevent overturning for subcontractor implementation

We will use 4 pieces steel plates that will be used

to spread on road to stabilize the auger machine and crane

down are potential hazards and are the traps on the site it should be covered by stable steel nets
