2.0 MACHINERY & EQUIPMENT

3.0 RESPONSIBILITIES
It is overall responsibility of Project Manager to organize resources prior to perform construction activities as per project specification in compliance with the quality, schedule & safety requirements EHS Manager will ensure in coordination with Site Engineer that all measure/construction taken shall be maintained till completion of job
It is the responsibility of Construction Manager/Site Engineer that construction activities are executed according to the relevant project specification in compliance with the quality, schedule & safety requirements
EPC will ensure that all works are performed safely
The relevant EPC Supervisor will ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with this method statement and project specification
The QC Inspector will ensure that the work is executed according to the requirements of quality dossier are fulfilled

4.0 MATERIAL
Anti-Termite material: Lenfos 50EC (Chlorpyrifos 50%)
Reference standard: TCVN 7958
5.0 PROCEDURE AND SEQUENCE
5.1 PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES
Properly coordinate with the concerned party or main contractor on how the process will be done with regards to application scheduling and area preparation
Coordinate and confirmation of people site access And the water source accessibility on site
The Method Statement (MS) must be on hand with the QA/QC Engineer before the commencement of the work
5.2 PRECONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
Remove all wooden pieces, concrete debris, plastic strips, tree stump roots, deleterious materials etc The soil shall be leveled and compacted if in case bottom of the blinding before treatment starts
All construction related tests shall be approved by the Engineer prior to treatment
5.3 CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
A solution of the Anti-termite material diluted with water at a rate of (10-15ml:1 liter) will be sprayed prior to casting with the application rate of 3-5 liters per square meter

it is recommended to apply termite protection whole slap area to ensure proper termite protection solution.

Inside building the treated area shall then be covered with polythene sheet, it can be opened free until 2 hours, and then casting can be started Casting must be completed by 2 to 24 hours after the Anti-termite application
With Anti-Termite trench (for outside boundary of the building), after spraying, backfill will be done with the backfill material

The Site Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for this work summarize various characteristics to be checked The concerned Site Engineer/Foreman will be responsible to ensure stage wise compliance for these operations and the Site QA/QC Engineer/Inspector will carry-out quality control checks and report the inspection results
7.0 ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY (EHS)
7.1 RESPONSIBILITIES AND INSTRUCTIONS
PM/EHS Officer shall ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with the specified work scope Safety training should be conducted to all personnel assigned at site prior to commence any work Carry-out daily tool box and safety talks
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) shall be worn at all times
Good housekeeping shall be observed in work areas
Keep non-essential workers clear of machinery whilst it is in operation
Construction wastes shall be segregated and disposed to an approved dump yard area
Adequate lighting equipment when working night time
Periodic refresher trainings, toll box talk and audit shall be conducted
7.2 SAFETY (PPE)
All works shall comply with the safety procedure or instruction as set out in project safety plan and municipality rules and regulations
Basic Personal Protective Equipment ( PPE ) shall be worn by all staff or laborers
7.3 ENVIRONMENTAL
The work will be carried with full protection to environment
Working area shall be clean, not slippery and free from any debris
