This fu ion splcer interf ace defines the minimum dimen ional l mits an relative location of

an FSOC fer ule as embly within a fu ion spl cer to en ure that the f usion splcer is a le to

complete the spl cin proces

This doc ment also provides inf ormation on an example u iversal holder to ac ommodate the

FSOC f er ule as embly Other FSOC comp nents s c as con ector hou in s, d st ca s or

reinforcin sle ve do not aff ect the comp tibi ty, so their dimen ion are not ad res ed in this

This doc ment defines a minimum set of dimen ional req irements for the f er ule as embly

an the fu ion splcer The dimen ion of the fer ule as embly are given in Fig re 1 an
