3.3.1 Marking of re ista c v lue with two signific nt n merals

Resistors with a toleran e of ± 0 %, whose resistan e values are des rib d with two

sig if i ant n merals, are marked with a thre -b n colour code, con istin of two b n s for

the sig if i ant n merals, f ol owed by one b n for the multipl er The a sen e of the f ourth

b n in icates the toleran e of ± 0 % Fig re 1 i u trates this with a 6,8 kΩ resistor with a
