3 General

3.1 Two clearance env elopes are specified:

— Ty pe S: clearance env elopes for sid e-mounted PTO

— Ty pe Z: clearance env elopes for rear-mounted PTO

3.2 A clearance env elope is shown in Fig ure 1 for a hy draulc pump mou ted directly on the PTO The

instalation env elope shown as a dot ed outlne includes the a ditional clearance required to mount the

pump

3.3 Adequate clearance for a d riv eshaft for remote-mou ted anci lary eq uipment shal be prov ided

4 Side- mounted PTO

The clearance env elopes for sid e-mou ted PTO are shown in Fig ure 1

Lateral clearance req uired for sl p ing the PTO ov er the mou ting studs and the extended g ear d uring the

instal ation shal be prov id ed in ac ord nce with the depth x of the PTO d riv e g ear as specified in ISO7 0
