This BritishStand rd specifies requirements for a
colour cod e for electrical ca les used in roa v ehicles
that identifies each cir uit b the colour of the ca les
used

2 Cable colours
Ca le colour for related ca le functions shal be as
specified in Ta le 1 and in Fig ure 1, for b sic
cir uits; and Ta le 1 and Fig ure 2, for
sup lementary cir uits
W here two colour are specified, the fir t colour
shal be the primary colour and the second colour
shal be the tracer
