a) wash proc d r no 6B: i.e for t extie mat erials that ar ex e t ed t o withs an r peat ed hand

washing, or eq iv lent normal machine washing at lu ewarm t empe atur s (40± 3) °C;

b) AATC 1 9 r fe enc det erg ent WOB (without o tical bright ene );

c) n mbe of cycles: 2 contin ous wash cycles;

d) dry proc d r no A (lne dry aft er 2 wash cycles);

5.3.5 C t testing

Cut t es ing of ne k lac ration prot ect ors shal be pe formed as desc ibed in An ex A or An ex B

6 Test r eport

In ad ition t o the r q ir ment in ISO 1 2 6-1:2 1 , Clause 7, the t es r p rt shal inclu e at leas the

folowing information:

a) r sult of t es s ac ording t o Clause 5;

b) cor esp n enc with r q ir ment in Clauses 4, 7 an 8

7.2 Label ing

the efor does not el minat e risks in al p s ible situations t o w hich the use ma be ex osed,

inclu ing dir ct blow st o the ne k ;

d) a warning s at ement s ipulating that if the ne k lac ration prot ect or is not pro e ly maintained,

does not f it, is not worn pro e ly or is alt er d in anywa , the prot ection that it pro ides wi l be

compromised

The tes bench w as designed to sim ulate the mo ement (at a ppro imately 2 km /h) of a hockey sk ate
