5.1 General

5.1.1 General test c onditio s

of the t es , but not les than 1 min int erv ls, advise no chang e

5.6.3 Requirement

5.7 No cur r ent trip and reset temperature

5.7.1 Purpose

This t es is t o ev luat e the cir uit br aker’ s design v riations an ambient t empe atur compensation

5.7.2 Test

The cir uit br aker shal be plac d int o a clmat e chambe for 3 min at a t empe atur as folow s:

— for rat ed cur ent of 1 A an les :72 ± 2 °C;

— for rat ed cur ent a o e 1 A:1 2 ± 2 °C

Aft er the 3 min, the t empe atur shal be raised at a rat e not ex ce ding 1 °C/ min an the t empe atur

at w hich the cir uit br aker o ens shal be r corded Aft er the cir uit br ake has o ened, the

t empe atur at a rat e not ex ce ding 1 °C min shal be de r ased and the t empe atur at w hich the

cir uit br aker closes shal be r corded If mor than one cir uit br aker is t est ed at one time, they shal

al o en befor the t empe atur is de r ased

If a cir uit br aker does not trip up t o a ma imum ambient t empe atur depending on the plas ic

mat erial, but not les than 1 0 °C, the t es shal be t erminat ed In this case, the cir uit br aker shal be
