I Objectives

1 Knowledge:

- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

+ listen for specific information about food and drink

+ write a paragraph about 70 words the eating habit in the students’ area

2 Competences:

- Students are able to develop listening, writing and co-operating skills

3 Attitude:

-Students can be more aware of eating and drinking sensibly

-Students will express their love to Vietnamese food and drink

Procedure - Teacher shows the picture in Task 4 and explains to students that

they should begin the paragraph with a topic sentence

- Teacher asks students to use ideas they have brainstormed to write

a paragraph about 70 words about the eating habits in their area

- Teacher asks students to refer to the Reading passages in Skills 1

if needed

- Teacher asks students to write the eating habit in the student’s area (groupwork of four)

- Teacher goes round and helps if needed

- Teacher asks students to exchange their friends’ writing

- Teacher gives feedback as a class discussion

Wrap-up ( 3 minutes)

Ask students what they have learnt
