Timing: 1 period ( 45 minutes)

I OBJECTIVES:

1 Knowledge:

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- Listen for specific information about school , school facilities and school

activities

-Write a paragraph about an outdoor activity at one’s school

2 Competence:  Students can

- Work in groups, independent working, pair work, linguistic competence, cooperative

learning and communicative competence

- Students will develop the listening and writing skills.

3 Attitude:

- To teach SS to work hard , love our school; like some outdoor activities at

one’s school

II TEACHING AIDS ( & MARERIALS)

1 Teacher: Textbooks, plan, ppt file, picture about landmark, smart TV

2 Students: Textbooks , notebooks,…

III PROCEDURE:

Activity 1: Disscustion ( 5’)

Goal - To help students disscuss ideas about some outdoor

activities and introduce the topic of listening

Input * Question: ( Task 1)

1 What outdoor activitiec do they take part in ?

2 why do they do these activities ?

Outcome * Suggested answers:

1 S1: grow trees /vegetables Clean roads/ streets S2: help old people S3: ……….

2 Because their school is becoming more beautiful

- Refresh their mind

Procedure - T asks Ss a question about outdoor activities.

- Ss answer question individually

- T feedbacks and introduces the topic of listening

+Lead in:

Now we are going to listen to an interview between a reportter and two students Circle the appropriate option ( A,

B , or D) to complete each sentences.

Activity 2 : Pre- Question : (4’)

Goal - To help students disscuss ideas about some outdoor

your school’s outdoor activities

 

Task 5: Write a paragraph of about 70 words about an outdoor activity at your school you canuse the information in.

Procedure - Teacher asks some questions about the outdoor activitives

- Students answer

- Teacher asks students to write about outdoor activitives And use your own ideas and the following as cues

- Students work in groups

- Teacher hangs the writing on the board and corrects one of them Then give marks
