I.AIMS

1 Knowledge: By the end of this unit pupils can

- Develop Ss speaking skills

Revision : vocabulary

2 Skills: Develop Ss listening and speaking , writing skills.

3.Attitude:-In this lesson, studious and obedient students and love their

hometown, family and friends

1 Teacher’s: English book , lesson plan, word cards, CD, cassette soft book

2 Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.

III.TEACHING METHODS

-Communicative approach.

-Techniques:+ Ask and answer (say individually)

By getting two groups of five to say the chant and do actions Have the rest of the class clap their hands along to the rhythm

-Tell the class that they are going to read the

passage again and answers the questions

-Ask pupils to read the questions and underline

the key words Then they should read the passage

to look for the relevent information

- Give pupils time to do the task independently

Go around offering help, if necessary

- get them to swap and read their writing in pairs

before asking two or three pupils to read their

answers aloud

- Have them read the gapped sentences and think

for pupils to do the task

- Get them to swap and read what they have

writen before asking two or three pupils to read

their answers aloud Then give feedback

(Nam and Tom) and the context in the book guess

what the story is about and point at each picture to

elicit their answers to these questions

- Play the recording

Ss listen and repeat in chorus two times

- Read in group/ pair: One repeats the question’s

part, the other repeats the answer’s part

- Check and corect
