A.Objectives:

1 Aims: By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to know about learning English

through listening Listening comprehension ( True / False )

2 Practice skill:

- Practice listening skill

3 The knowledge needs to get:

+ Standard knowledge: Identify the correct information about studying English + Advanced knowledge: Ask and answer about Ss’ studying English.

4 Basic language

-Vocabulary: + National bank (n), international, + Improve (v) + Excellent (a)

-The present simple

5 Attitude:

- Help ss to have good consciousness in order to practice listening to the

dialogue

B Teaching- aids:

Lesson plan, textbooks, pictures, poster, CD, computer

C Methods: individual work, group work.

- Some techniques can be used: Find someone who, ask and answer

Step 1 Pre Listening : (10’)

- Introduce “ We are going to hear a conversation

between Nga and Kate about Nga,s studying

English “

- Present some new words :

+ National bank (n) : Translation

+ Improve (v)

+ Excellent (a)

- Ask Ss to read the statements and predict they are

true or false

Step 2 While – Listening : (16’)

- Call on some Ss to report their predictions and

write them on the board

- Turn on the tape (2 or 3 times )

- Ask Ss to exchange and compare with a friend

- Call on some Ss to read the answers Correct and

give the right answers :

+ Standard knowledge: Read to get the information about the English classes

from the advertisements

+ Advanced knowledge: Ask and answer about someone’ s course.

- If there’s time, get students to come to the board

and write the English words again

- Ask students to keep their books closed and read

the statements and guess which is true, which is

false

Yours sincerely được dùng khi viết thư cho người mà bạn đã gặp hoặc nói chuyện cùng Bạn xưng hô với họ bằng tên của họ (Dear Mr/Miss/Mrs/Ms ), viết "Your sincerely" và ký tên của bạn ở phần kết thúc bức thư

Ví dụ:

à phần cuối bức thư bạn sẽ viết:
